Materials & Food Safety

Quality starts with what goes into the container.

Every Proliance container begins with virgin-grade polypropylene from certified resin manufacturers. Migration-free inks and food-grade protection varnish ensure the finished product meets food-contact safety standards — by design, not by chance.

  • Virgin Polypropylene Resin Sourced from certified manufacturers. No recycled content in food-contact layers.
  • Migration-Free Printing Inks IML label inks formulated to prevent migration into food contents.
  • Food-Grade Protection Varnish Protective overcoat maintains food-contact integrity across the full label area.
  • Cleanroom Packaging Finished containers are packed under controlled conditions to prevent contamination.

In-Mold Labeling

4 benefits of
In-Mold Labeling.

In IML, a pre-printed label is placed inside the mould before the container is formed. As molten polypropylene is injected, it fuses permanently with the label — creating a single, seamless, decorated container in one step.

  • Design quality — IML delivers high-resolution colour and photographic-quality graphics fused directly into the container wall.
  • Durability — The label is molded into the material itself, so it can't peel, scratch off or fade, even in cold storage.
  • Environment-friendly — Container and label share the same polypropylene, making the whole unit recyclable with no separation needed.
  • Cost-effective — Decoration happens in the same shot as moulding, with no separate labeling step, adhesives or extra floor space.

IML Technology

The label becomes
the container.

In-Mold Labeling fuses a printed label directly into the container wall during injection moulding — creating decoration that cannot peel, fade or contaminate.

Label

Pre-printed IML label is placed inside the open mould cavity with precision.

Mould

The mould closes. The label is held against the cavity wall by electrostatic charge.

Injection

Molten polypropylene is injected. The label bonds permanently to the container wall.

Container

The finished container is ejected — label and structure are a single, inseparable piece.
